Chernobyl Plutonium Found in Swedish Soil?

When the reactor at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant exploded in 1986 in what was then the Soviet republic of Ukraine, radioactive elements were released in the air and found their way a crossed the Soviet Union, Europe and all the way over eastern portions of North America. Sending many to alcohol rehab, or a drug treatment center over the years due to the stress and depression from the tragedy.

It appears that scientists have found much more plutonium was found in the Swedish soil at a depth that corresponded with the nuclear explosion than that of Poland. Interesting study I guess that shows just how widespread this problem really was. Also, just how long it still lingers.
