New Names in the Solar System

What you learned in school was all wrong when it comes to our Solar System. My Very Eager Mother Just Served Us Nine Pickles was a great way to learn and remember the names of the planets, their order from the sun, and to giggle at the word pickles. Now it seems every few months the planet Pluto, is called something else entirely.

Scientists spewing new theories like water from our bathroom faucets about what things are, and what they are called are popping up every other day.

So where do we sit now in regards to what everything is called, or what exactly is it classified as exactly? Space.com answered this question recently and I guess this information will probably be up to date. Well…for a couple months anyways.
