Total Lunar Eclipse Tonight

I mentioned the other day that there was a Total Lunar Eclipse on February 20th. Well…Today is February 20th! This is just a reminder to anyone who has subscribed to this blog in their RSS feed Readers so that they don’t miss out on the event.

The easy-to-watch event will play out in several stages as Earth’s shadow blocks sunlight from shining on the moon. Weather permitting, the eclipse will be visible from all locations in the United States, according to NASA. Along the Oregon and northern California coasts, the moon will rise during the early stages of the eclipse, however which may make it difficult to view. Craning your neck to see around the smog will certainly need posture correction in the morning…lol
