LOL @ Agloco

I got a message about a week or so ago I think from the Agloco Team that said they are basically going bust. Turn off the bathroom lights and go home I guess.

Not that it was a huge surprise that it went down, but they just have been pretty terrible about their communications for the past year. They haven’t even updated their blog since October.

Another thing that told me they were going down, besides the obvious that the whole program stunk, was that they actually sent us an e-mail about 2 months ago asking us to click on the Ask.com ads when we did searches. Can you believe this? I can’t imagine anyone would have been pleased knowing this from Ask.com to the advertisers that use it. I would be livid if a supposed company was prompting members to participate in click fraud like that. I sent an e-mail back the the Agloco team at the time to express my displeasure with the request, but of course I never got a response.

I know I still have the banner over on the sidebar, but I’m kind of busy so I haven’t had time to take all the crap down yet. If it wasn’t for all the ad revenue I got from the Agloco blog I set up I would be out about $50 from this whole fiasco. Fortunately it paid for itself so it is like it never happened.
