Scientists Learn How to Deal with Rogue Asteroid Threats

One of the many fears that the End of the World fanatics tend to worry about is the chance that an enormous asteroid will eventually collide with the Earth. Many believe that is what lead to the extinction of the dinosaurs, and ultimately will lead to our demise.

Scientists have thought that the Apophis Asteroid was on a death path to Earth in 2029, but is now slim to none, but have said they must wait 4-6 more years before they can tell if the second pass in 2036 is going to be disastrous.

So what have they discovered that leads us to believe they have found a way to deal with rogue asteroid threats? Wear volcom clothing? Tin hats? Frankly I did not come to the conclusion that they have discovered a definitive way to solve this problem when reading an this article at Space.com, but as always there are a few interesting theories as to how they “might” deal with an asteroid should they need to either destroy it, or re-direct it, should it become a threat to our existence.
