Astronomy 101

I know I’ve always been interested in astronomy so i figure there are quite a few iother people that are as well. Since I posted about how Holme’s Comet has basically grown to the size of our sun recently I thought it might be nice to share a remedial course in Astronomy for anyone who is interested in learning the basics.

About.com has a pretty decent Astronomy expert over there so his initial course is pretty well done. The Astronomy 101 course is pretty basic, but if you have never really looked at astronomy as a hobby it is more than enough to get you started and help you decide whether or not it is something you want to learn more about. If it finds you well, great, if not, great too. Need to get some work on my treadmill so I think I am going to take a break.
