Trillian Instant Messenger
This thing is amazing for working online. I have so many contacts on various Instant Messenger programs like Yahoo, AOL, ICQ, IRC, and MSN that it becomes very inconvenient to have all of them open at the same time. If I’m talking to my friend Joe at Collins College AZ on YIM, or my buddy that told me about Trillian, Jules from Utterly Geek on one of her many IM accounts it doesn’t matter. One program and I can talk to anyone on any of these IM services.
This thing has made life much easier to keep available to most people. Especially during fantasy baseball season where I have 11 other people on different IM services who want to cut some deals. I’ve never met a trade I didn’t like so it is usually a good thing when i am contacted for such a reason and I don’t want to miss it. You can learn about more features and download Trillian here.

have you ever tried GAIM ? Have been using the free program for a while.
The downside to trillian is, while its all in one program, it still uses the same amount of memory as having all three open at once.
Trillian has a pay version too don’t they? I used to use them until they released the pay version. Then I went to GAIM. But now I use Miranda. I really like Miranda. I connect to all the IMs, and they have plugins. I love the Floating Contacts plugin. I have some friends that float on mydesktop now and I can always see if they are online or not. Miranda is my favorite so far.
Damn you guys. Now I have to try out 2 more. Either way it gives me something to write about and hopefully an even better IM program.
If you ever switch to Mac . . I would say Adium is the best All-In-One chat program I’ve ever used!
Looks like GAIM is now called Pidgin. I’m trying it out. Trillian works well, but they keep losing my offline messages and those are quite important to me.
