Edit Comments Wordpress Plugin for Readers!

The great blogger Samanathon did some Speed Linking today on his blog and gave me some link love. He has a lot of great tips himself and great information on Windows Tip, Tricks And Hacks.

While reading there I saw that he was utilizing a neat feature for our blogs that allows readers to edit their comments after they have been posted for a set time of about 30 minutes. So i added it here. In his comments I found out who had told him about it and decided to give Kelly Cho some link love as well for showing me the Edit Comments Plugin.

Kelly Cho is also a proud member of the Do Follow Revolution.

Test it out! You know you want to.

It’s a great plugin – it also allows the admin to edit any comment!

Just letting you know that I’ve favorited your blog on Technorati as a part of the Technorati Favorites Exchange. :-)

Installing this on my sites today. Thanks for the tip once again!

      Faved you too Angelika.

Only issue I’m having with this plugin so far is that as the admin here I can’t click on any of the links in your posts unless I use the Snap Shot. I guess I should turn off moderation for the admin for this plugin. I can edit these anyways with out it with this theme.

My feed is http://fibromyalgiaexperiment.com/feed/ thanks for pointing out that is wasn’t anywhere on my site, I’ll have to change that, & add you to my feeds as well, thanks! How do you make it so it says “subscribe to this feed” at the bottom of every post?

I’m editing this comment right now just because I can & I have to say, it’s pretty darn nifty.

You have to go into your comments.php file and do it. It works just like the code in a post would. You may have to test where you put it in that file a bit to get it in the right place, but it will just be written text along with a link code for your feed in it.

Great plugin – there’s nothing more frustrating than posting a comment and then realizing you screwed it up and not being able to alter it. Thanks. Feel free to visit my blog at High Strangeness Altoona and my new blog at the Raven’s Barrow.

I was looking at this on my friends site. And I may install it on my site (if I ever get a decent layout up).

Hmm… I’ve wished that quite a few bloggers had this plugin! Sometimes I push the submit button a little too quickly!

I’ve had so many of my readers that have done little typos…do they notice? I don’t know, but I do, and it bugs me.

I’ve gone in more than once and changed someone’s incorrect spelling, or lost space.

Again, does anyone notice? Maybe not – but I do. And since it’s MY blog, I can do it if I want. HA!
