Digging Just Got A Lot Easier

I was just kicking around the interwebs earlier today and a blog friend of mine named Suni at Tech it Like a Man! informed me of this incredibly easy way to Digg stories using the Firefox browser. This new add on allows you to Digg anything just by right clicking on the link and selecting “Digg This!”.

Of all the Firefox extensions I use this one will likely become one of my favorites and get used daily by me. Even though many have utilized some Wordpress Plugins to allow us to Digg their stories, there are many bloggers that just don’t have the feature and we have to do it manually. Now we can do it for everyone we read and we don’t have to fill in all the extra fields at Digg like we used to when we saw a great story.

I can’t imagine you don’t use the Firefox browser, but if you don’t you can get it by clicking here:

To get the extension download it here. So the next time you want to pimp your site about the Best Diet Pills on Digg you can do so with much less effort. That is if you are using Firefox.

I can’t get my head around Digg, just seems like nonsense, poor traffic, too much to read, not targeted…and a chance to get buried. Another playground for nextgenners.

Not the kind of publicity I want, and I think a waste of time. Much better ways to generate traffic without the risks.

i agree that it’s poor traffic, but hey, it’s traffic . . . if i can get one subscriber out of 10, then that’s fine with me . . .

Yea digg is great for generating exposure and a lot of trackbacks.

As for the Firefox plug-in, I use a greasemonkey script that adds a Digg it button to top of the page if it detects a referral from digg.com - works well and saves me a few clicks every day :)
