Just when you thought you had gotten yourself popular on MyBlogLog there comes another community to join. The Blog Catalog is almost the same thing. IF you look at it you will think you just landed on MyBlogLog and they changed the template. Nope. This is Blog Catalog and it is time for you to go join that one too.

I know I’ll see you over there because you can’t possibly stay away from another place to network with cool widgets to put on your site. You can join “Neighborhoods” here instead of communities. You can leave messages just like MyBlogLog. Will it take off like MBL did? Why shouldn’t it? We all go the same places and do the same things. Why not another one. Get there early and get yourself noticed. You can be Top Gun over here since I’m letting you know about it so early.

UPDATE: I forgot to do something here and it is a shame. I heard about this from my buddy Jules at Utterly Geek and didn’t even mention it! She didn’t contact me about it or anything, but I should have mentioned her site in my post anyways. Bad blogger, I am.

      Absolutely Gary. The way they have that set up is brilliant ad placement. All the ads on my profile are for Jimi Hendrix stuff…haha

      I hear ya Danielle. Seems like we are all working hard right now and trying to improve. Your blogs are looking very good though so the spare time you are finding seems to be working. You have some good time saving tips there too that I have implemented :).

      The biggest problem I have is that now I have 2 widgets with people’s photos on my website .. if another couple start up there’s not going to be any place left for my actual blog posts !

      LOL! I know. My Sidebar is cluttered with blogging community widgets. I have 3 widgets with pics and it is funny because every time most of you come here it shows your pic on every one of them.

      Hey, at least it brands you a little bit with people seeing your mug over and over.

      Haha I added Blog Catalog to my blog as well - I prefer MyBlogLog’s “no-text” option. And here’s a little trick… I made the title of the Blog Catalog widget a single space, so it would blend better with the MyBlogLog widget.
