Apparently if you upgraded to 2.1.1 in the last few days you may have a pretty corrupt version of 2.1.1. It doesn’t say when this change occured so they recommend that everyone upgrade to 2.1.2 that is running this version.

BACK UP your files before you do this. You never know what WP upgrades are going to do to your templates when they install them. You will have to do quite a few file copy/pastes I am sure so make certain you do back up your current version.

Long story short: If you downloaded WordPress 2.1.1 within the past 3-4 days, your files may include a security exploit that was added by a cracker, and you should upgrade all of your files to 2.1.2 immediately.
