TV on Cell Phones

Your Wireless Source has written a bit about TV on Cell Phones recently that I was reading over today. They break down each of the major providers and the options available for consumers. The article gives a view on the disadvantages of mobile TV and Video features. According to the writer capacity on the network could be exceeded in 2007 if enough people watch just 10 minutes of video per day because video eats up 10 times the bandwidth that voice does.

At this point the technology hasn’t really become efficient enough to make mobile television a true reality for most consumers according to the author and customers haven’t really jumped on the bandwagon yet.
