Another point is, trademarks are kind of useless unless you are one of the big boys. You probably will not remember this, but as an example, &quot;Apple&quot; was highly contested by the Beatles for decades, and recently settled with Apple Computer.</description>

		<description>Not necessarily intentional, but it may have been a plan. I used to work for an advertising agency that would assign projects during dead times to trademark words and phrases. 

At the time, they trademarked things like pop culture terms. Sort of like reserving dot com names for everything under the sun.</description>
